Planning Report and detailed design
Belkaya-2 Dam project area is located in the Western Mediterranean Basin and is planned on the Ecel River at 1135 m thalweg elevation. On the Ecel River, where the Belkaya-2 Dam is planned, there is the Belkaya Dam, which is currently in operation and has irrigation benefits. If the Belkaya-2 Dam, which will provide drinking water to Burdur province, is built, benefit losses occur due to the water consumption to be experienced. In order to eliminate the loss of benefit, derivasion possibilities are discussed in detail within the scope of the report. In addition, alternatives for providing drinking water supply from Karamusa Springs and Bademli Dam to Burdur province were studied.
